Many companies seem to do this, and another came to light
today when my new Reebok training shoes arrived. Initially, my wife thought I had ordered two pairs, and again I have to ask the question – ‘why?’
Why does Reebok have to waste so much cardboard, and ultimately money sending out these items, and why can’t they have more control?
Personally had my training shoe box come wrapped in brown paper I would have been quite happy, I’m sure they would still have arrived in good enough condition? But with the growing demand on our planet and the need to control the waste surely a company the size of Reebok should be leading the way in helping out in these two important areas. I’m sure it’s not only happened with my order, and with the amount they send out, the waste must be quite a lot, by volume and financially!
